I Made A Huge Mistake!

Apologies for the "click-baity" title, but I really did make a huge mistake! This was less of a tattooing mistake and more of an issue with the fact I'm incredibly clumsy.

Firstly, apologies for the late post. (Riddled with the ol' ADHD). I always thought tattooing wouldn't be for me as I'm too impatient. Yet here I am, starting something new in my 30s and it is teaching me patience. This has been evident in my traditional artwork to. I am enjoying the process more, rather than just racing to the finish line.

So, what have I been up to? I've had commissions, made stock for the Made In Argyll shop and painted a new window display. Here is a slideshow of all that fun stuff:

Hygiene is paramount in tattooing. After completing a tattoo, I wrap everything for binning in the wrap covering my tray. That big mistake I made? I forgot to take my machine and battery off the tray first! £££s in the bin. The communal bins meant there was no salvaging them once I realised my mistake the next evening.

Perhaps everything happens for a reason though. I used my stupid mistake as an excuse to purchase a new machine; one I'd had my eye on for a while. Then I got back to it. It has been really motivating seeing my progress.

I have been working on real skin more also (including myself) and feeling more confident.

Finally, I've been practising more with realism; where my passion still remains.

On top of the ADHD (and the rest), I do have some physical health issues. As I am due to get a major surgery very soon, you may not hear from me for a while. But I will be back! Then the real fun begins.
